DUO Mobile Set-up
Before proceeding with the setup instructions, make sure to install DUO Mobile on your phone.
Step 1:
- Login into your FNU email from your computer.
Step 2:
- After login, go to your Inbox and locate the email from “Duo Security” and click on it.
Step 3:
- When inside the DUO email, scroll down until you see the first link. Click on it (You will be redirected to another site).

- You will be presented with a welcoming message from DUO. Keep clicking “Next” until you see the “Select an option” section.

Step 5:
- In this section, click on the “Duo Mobile” option. It will ask for your phone number. Type your phone number, click “Continue”, and confirm that it is correct.

- Click “Next” until you see the QR code. Then open the Duo Mobile application on your smartphone.

Step 7:
- Inside the Duo Mobile application, click “Continue”, then click “Use a QR code”. When your phone camera appears, aim it at the QR code on your computer screen.

Step 8:
- After scanning the QR code, you will see the name of the organization (Florida National University) and account name, tap “Save”. You will then see the account on the home screen.
Step 9:
- Go back to your computer, click “Continue”, and you will see a green checkmark with the message “Setup completed!”.
Every time you log into a computer on campus with your account, DUO will send a push notification to your device, and you just need to tap on the green checkmark to login.

You have completed the DUO Mobile set-up
